Spa Francorchamps, Belgium -- Michelin has threatened to pull out of the 2007 Formula 1 Racing season, as a protest against the FIA's proposed Formula 1 regulations for the 2008 season. In response, the FIA has said, "If Mr Michelin is not aware of [a few] simple facts he shows an almost comical lack of knowledge of modern Formula One."
In a ddition, the Williams team has announced it is switching tyre suppliers away from Michelin and that Bridgestone has entered into a multi-year agreement with the WilliamsF1 Team for the supply of Bridgestone Potenza Formula One tyres from 2006.
