Bridgestone advertises retread system with snakes
Brussels -- Bridgestone Retread Systems is introducing a new promotional programme for its retreading system known as Qualitread.
The company has chosen a snake theme, reflecting the snake's ability to grow a new skin, just as good as the previous skin.
"We chose a snake because of the similarity between the reptile shedding its skin and the retread tyre process†says Marcello Gambarini, managing director of Bridgestone retread. The Qualitread tyre receives a new 'skin' without losing its original capabilities, just like a snake. It's like a rebirth!†To highlight the association of both ideas, the Qualitread snake has some of its scales redesigned like a tyre tread pattern.
