Solvay boosting prices for TPEs
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (Nov. 29)--Solvay Engineered Polymers Inc. is raising prices for thermoplastic polyolefins and vulcanized thermoplastic elastomers Jan. 1.
TPO prices will raise 5 cents per pound for truckload-volume purchases, and 7 cents per pound for less-than-truckload shipments, the firm said. TPV prices will increase 10 cents per pound for all purchases.
The company blamed escalating raw material costs for the increases.
Solvay makes Dexflex, Sequel, Dexpro and Indure TPOs, and Respond and NexPrene TPVs.
