Indian car tyre production jumps 16 percent in May
While overall tyre production in India increased by just three percent in May, strong growth continued in moped, tractor, car and light truck tyre production. These sectors grew by 47 percent, 22 percent, 16 percent and 15 percent respectively in the one-month period. Motorcyle tyre production fell by four percent, bringing the overall growth figure down.
