Amtel, Russia's largest tyre maker, has reportedly accused former partner Nokian Tyres of industrial espionage. Amtel, which recently withdrew from a joint venture with the Finnish tyre maker, alleges that Nokian executives illegally copied sensitive commercial documents, including Amtel sales plans, logistics documents and distribution plans, and took them to Finland without permission. The company said it will decide how to resolve the issue once it has made an estimate of its total losses.
