Wacker to debut heat-resistant silicone at Fakuma
Munich-based Wacker will be premiering its highly heat resistant Elastosil R plus 4350/55 solid silicone rubber at this year’s Fakuma. Heat stabilizers enable the extrudable and addition-curing solid silicone to withstand temperatures of up to 300 °C for several days, without any substantial modifications to its elasticity or mechanical properties. Elmet, an Austrian operating system supplier for the injection moulding of two-component liquid silicone rubbers (LSR) will introduce its standardised barcode system for drum labelling and recognition at Fakuma.
