Clarksville, Tennessee – Hankook Tire is intending to employ over 1,000 new staff for its new plant currently under construction in Clarksville, Tennessee, the South Korean tire-maker announced on 8 Sept.
To that end, Hankook will host an information fair for job seekers on 6-7 Oct, at the Wilma Rudolph Event Centre, at 1190 Cumberland Drive, Clarksville.
The Clarksville facility, said the release, is currently hiring for engineering and administration positions and will begin full-scale production of tires in October 2016.
Hankook broke ground for its first US plant in Dec 2014, and aims for an annual output of 5.5 million car and light truck tires for the first phase of the project. The second phase, due on stream by 2018, will double capacity to 11 million units.
