NR prices continue steady rise on 11 October

London -- Rubber prices continue to move slowly upwards overnight, remaining solidly above $4. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were counter-trending as they fell by half a yen, to close at yen 313.8 ($4.09) per kg on Tuesday 11 Oct. Shorter-dated prices rose by about a yen to close at yen 306.
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 prices for February delivery continued to rise by around $0.03 to trade around $4.27. TSR20 for delivery in March 2012 also rose by 3 cents to close at $4.20.
In India, NMCE said October deliveries rose by half a rupee, to close at Rs 216.5 ($4.39) per kilo.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange rose by less than a yuan October deliveries trading around Yuan 29.5 ($4.63) per kilo.
