India publishes February Rubber Statistical News

Kottayam, Kerala, India -- India's Rubber Board has published the February issue of its Rubber Statistical News publication. The publication shows that production of Natural Rubber
(NR) in the country during
December 2010 increased to
103,000 tonnes as against the
production of 100,850 tonnes during
December 2009.
Consumption of NR by the rubber
goods manufacturing industry in the
country during December'10 was
80,465 tonnes compared to
78,010 tonnes during November'10.
Synthetic Rubber (SR) production
during December'10 decreased to
9,463 tonnes from 100,84 tonnes
during November'10.
