Frankfurt, Germany -- Datamonitor has published a new report titled, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company - SWOT Analysis. The 26-page report was first published in July 2008 and is available for a price of around Euro 100, depending on delivery options.
The publishers say, "ECooper Tire & Rubber Company (Cooper Tire) is engaged in designing, manufacturing and selling of tires for passenger cars, light trucks, medium trucks, motorcycles and racing vehicles, as well as material and related equipment for the retread industry. The company primarily operates in the US. It is headquartered in Findlay, Ohio and employs 13,355 people. The company recorded revenues of $2,932.6 million during the fiscal year ended December 2007, an increase of 13.9% over 2006. The increase in revenue was primarily due to improved net pricing and product mix in both the North American Tire and International Tire Operations segments and higher unit volumes in the International Tire segment. The operating profit of the company was $134 million during 2007, as compared to an operating loss of $45 million in 2006. The net profit was $120 million in 2007, as compared to a net loss of $79 million in 2006."
