NR prices fall to six-week lows, but prices still historically high

Tokyo -- Prices of natural rubber have fallen in recent weeks, but prices still remains high in a historical context.
In Tokyo the six-month futures price is at around Yen 278 ($2.63) per kilo, down from a high of Yen 310 ($2.93) on 4 January.
In Singapore the price (Rss3) has also been drifting down from around $2.70 to $2.50 in the last couple of weeks.
In India the price is hovering just under the Rs100 / kg mark.
