October car sales in China are 10 percent down on 2003
Beijing--Sales and production of passenger cars in China were down on both the previous month and on the year-ago figure, according to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. The reduction was blamed on a national holiday from 1 to 7 October, and on car makers reducing inventories.
