In addition, Tim Thomas, operations director, has been named VP manufacturing and operational excellence.
These roles will report to the CEO and be members of the company’s executive leadership team.
“The shift of our organisation to a global functional structure will drive greater focus on business process optimisation and efficiency,” said CEO Frank Bozich.
The move, added Bozich, is in conjunction with the company’s business services transition from Dow, an initiative which will see certain administrative services such as accounts payable, logistics, and IT services separated from Dow in the first quarter of 2020.
A search has been initiated for the role of senior vice president, commercial, which also will report to the CEO. In the interim, the global business units will report to Bozich.
