Norcross, Georgia – Logistics automation specialist Cimcorp Group has promoted company veteran Joel Kuusman to manager of US operation and technical services.

Kuusman, who has been with the company since 2014, will lead the company's US office in Norcross.

"He [Kuusman] will help align ongoing operations and strategies between our entities in North America and headquarters in Finland," Rick Trigatti, president of Cimcorp Automation Ltd. of Grimsby, Ontario, said.

Part of the Japanese Murata Machinery Ltd, Cimcorp supplies turnkey automation for intralogistics to the tire and food industries through the use of robotics.

The company's materials-handling systems provide a variety of work for the tire industry, including the storage and movement of raw rubber materials and components during manufacturing as well as warehousing and shipping automation.

Kuusman holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from LUT University in Finland.
