London -- Rubber prices moved slightly higher overnight, in particular prices in Singapore jumped above $6/kg, from $5.80 previously.
In Tokyo, Tocom's benchmark six-month price was trading at yen 499.8 ($6.09) per kg, toward the end of the afternoon session on Tuesday 8 Feb. March contracts for March delivery rose above Yen 510 ($6.21)
In Singapore short-dated RSS3 Prices hit a high of $6.15 before closing at $6.05, up 25 cents from yesterday. Short-dated TSR20 closed up 24 cents at $5.67/kg .
Indian prices on the NMCE (National Multi-Commodity Exchange) fell, closing at Rs 254 ($5.61)/kg for May delivery.
Chinese prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SFE) also rose in thin trading over the holiday period, trading well above yuan 41.5/kg ($6.32).
