Berwyn, Pennsylvania – Trinseo SA has announced a number of changes to its executive leadership team, a move which it says will make the organisation “flatter” and "drive efficiency."
As part of the streamlining programme, recently appointed head of synthetic rubber business Andre Lanning will take over as the VP strategy, corporate development and marketing communications as of 1 May, Trinseo announced 15 April.
Also effective 1 May, Trinseo’s basic plastics business director Francesca Reverberi will take the position of VP engineered materials and synthetic rubber. Reverberi had previously served as global business director synthetic rubber at Trinseo between 2012 and 2015.
Other business head units include Nicolas Joly who has been named VP, plastics and feedstocks; and Rüdiger Schmitz who has been named VP Latex Binders.
Under the new structure, Trinseo will no longer have an SVP commercial and the heads of its global units will report directly to the CEO.
All of the vice presidents will be members of the company’s executive leadership team.
In addition, Tim Stedman, SVP strategy and corporate development, has been named special advisor, effective 1 May and will leave the company at the end of October “to pursue other opportunities.”
