London - In ERJ Nov/Dec issue, we will update our Top 10 ranking of new materials technologies, based on their potential contribution to enhancing the environmental profile of the elastomers/rubber industry.
As per the launch of the Top 10 in July, the Elastomers for Sustainability (E4S) programme comprises five categories: Automotive components; Construction, including recreational areas; Consumer, medical and other GRGs; Industrial products; and Tires.
Companies and individuals are invited to provide suggestions for the Top 10, along with supporting details, which can include published information, ranging from press releases to technical papers.
E4S entries should ideally involve a product application, which has been commercialised within the last 18 months. Materials technologies at an advanced stage of commercialisation will also be considered.
Entries can be supplied via email or by completing the E4S Survey Form, no later than the deadline of 23 Oct.
The Top 10 technologies will then be selected from these entries by an independent panel, comprising experts from leading industry associations and academic groups.
The revised E4S Top 10 table will be published in the Nov/Dec issue of European Rubber Journal magazine.
Please send your entries and/or requests for further information by email to ERJ editor
