Yancheng, China – SinoArp has added a first 88-inch hydraulic unit to its range of tire curing presses, the Chinese machinery manufacturer has announced.
Customers, it noted, have already “placed a batch of orders for the press, which is applicable to cure off-the road OTR tires from 18-inch to 28 inch and truck/bus tires.”
Based on independent R&D, the automated and compact unit operates two moulds synchronously and is said to be “highly accurate and efficient.”
The machine, stated SinoArp, employs “a newly-developed device that can change moulds more quickly with fewer staff that conventional units – thereby enhancing efficiency across the workshop.”
The company has added a new mould open/close guide system which “does not bear mould-locking forces, which ensures no deformation for the whole lifespan.”
According to the company, the design enables mould open/close movement within 50 seconds, thus reducing the typical cycle time by 50%.
Another feature is the even distribution of tie rods around the moulds. This is said to ensure uniform locking forces, with the fixed bottom mould further ensuring tire quality.
As a designated research centre and a post-doctoral centre within Jiangsu Province, SinoArp said it allocates 6% of sales revenues for the development of new products and technologies.
Other recent innovations include the development of intelligent visual inspection and software monitoring systems, according to the press statement.
In 2020, added SinoArp, the company developed a 130-inch dome-type sliding press, which “is currently exported to Japan and operates well.”
