Greenville, South Carolina – Michelin North America is increasing tire prices in North America for the third time this year, citing “market dynamics” as the reason behind the hikes.
The tire maker is increasing prices on select Michelin, BFGoodrich and Uniroyal passenger and light truck replacement tires by up to 6% in the US and Canada, effective 1 July.
Furthermore, the company is implementing a 13% price hike on both on- and off-road commercial tire offers in the US and Canada as of July.
This is the third time Michelin is raising prices in North America this year.
In February, the tire maker increased the prices of Michelin and BFGoodrich tires in the US by 5%.
This was followed by an 8% rise in the prices of Michelin, BFGoodrich and Uniroyal passenger and light truck tires in the US and Canada in April.
