Houston, Texas - The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers (IISRP) has postponed its annual general meeting because of the ongoing threat posed by the coronavirus, according to Juan Ramon Salinas, the associations managing director and CEO.
Houston-based IISRP had originally scheduled the meeting for 11-14 May in Bangkok.
The association will now hold the event 12-15 October in Bangkok, according to the IISRP website.
The IISRP has 50 producer and affiliate members in 23 countries. The association said that producer members represent more than 90% of the global synthetic rubber capacity.
