Hanover, Germany – ContiTech AG has launched a new strategic partnership programme to promote “closer, more transparent and more effective” interaction with its distributors and customers.
The industrial components manufacturer is introducing “the partner of choice” scheme to jointly develop solutions, with the aim open new opportunities in the market while “laying the groundwork for success in the digital age,” said ContiTech in a 7 April statement.
“Markets are becoming ever more closely interrelated, so market players in various fields are well advised to act accordingly,” said the announcement.
As part of the scheme, Continental is teaming up with “selected partners” in a wide range of industries, offering them “targeted support” in the shape of co-engineering or joint business plans.
Most participating distributors, ContiTech said, are “long-standing Continental partners who… play a key role in their respective markets.”
According to the German manufacturer, the programme has been launched in response to a 2019 survey of sales partners, which highlighted the increasing role of strategic alliances between technology providers and vendors.
ContiTech manufactures and provides services for conveyor belts, vibration isolation components, drive belts, surface materials and hoses.
