West Drayton, UK – Continental Tyres, UK-based subsidiary of Continental AG, has appointed Pete Robb as new marketing director, effective 1 Sept.
Robb, who joined Continental 20 years ago, will report directly to UK managing director, David Smith, Conti said in a 16 Sept statement.
During his career with Continental, Robb has held various positions across supply chain, process and marketing functions.
He has worked in product management, branding, trade marketing and most recently he headed up the marketing communications team.
In his new role, Robb will have overall responsibility for the marketing strategy across passenger, truck and commercial speciality tires in the UK and Ireland.
Continental expects Robb to bring in “in-depth knowledge of the market” and “wide-ranging and lengthy marketing experience” to the role.
“It’s a particularly exciting time… as Continental focuses on sustainable mobility and its transformation in digitalisation and electrification,” said Robb taking his new role.
“I am also inspired by further ‘market-leading’ new products and services that we are introducing in the coming years,” he added.
