Borflex Group acquires French silicone rubber specialist

    Corvol L'Orgeuilleux, France – Rubber, polyurethane and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) specialist the Borflex Group has acquired SPCV Silicone Plastic Rubber Voreyzian, a French manufacturer of rubber and silicone baby products.

    The acquisition, said Borflex in an 8 Dec statement, is part of the French group's growth strategy and will extend its offerings. 

    Established in in Massif Central (Haute-Loire) in 1972, SPCV is a family business specialising in the production of childcare equipment and accessories in LSR rubber and silicone. 

    With a strong foothold in Europe, the company registered sales of over €2.3 million in 2018.

    SPCV’s products are marketed in 18 different countries, in particular through the Natae-branded range of baby bottles and teats. 

    The integration of SPCV brings the total of Borflex group companies to 11, and the number of employees to 375. 

    Based in Corvol L'Orgeuilleux, central France, Borflex is specialised in small and medium production runs and has 10 production sites in France and Switzerland.
