Mumbai, India – Apollo Tyres Ltd has resumed partial production at one of its manufacturing plants in India, according to a recent stock exchange filing.
The tire maker started manufacturing activities at its factory in Perambra, Kerala on 21 April, after government directives exempting its operations from lockdowns, Apollo said in a 22 April BSE filing.
The tire maker halted operations at its sites in Kalamassery and Perambra, Kerala; Limda, Gujarat and Chennai in Tamil Nadu on 24 March following a nationwide lockdown to control the spread of Covid-19
