Clermont-Ferrand, France – Long-time Michelin CEO and managing chairman Jean Dominique Senard has officially ended his career at the tire maker following a 17 May annual general meeting.
The French industrialist joined Michelin as chief financial officer in 2005 and took over as managing partner of the group in May 2007, following the death of Edouard Michelin.
Thanking Senard for his role in the company, Michel Rollier, chairman of the supervisory board, praised “the importance and quality of his contribution” as to the group’s development.
In January this year, Senard was named as the CEO of the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance following Carlos Ghosn's resignation as president of Renault.
Florent Menegaux, managing general partner since the company’s AGM in May 2018, will now officially serve as the CEO and managing chairman.
