Vienna – Austrian rubber products group Semperit AG has extended the term of management board member Felix Fermery until end of November 2020.

Fermery joined Semperit’s executive team, on an interim basis, in September 2018 to head the medical sector, which is currently a focus of the company’s ongoing reorganisation plans.

He will be responsible for a “comprehensive and sustainable improvement of the situation in this sector,” said Christoph Kollatz, chairman of Semperit’s supervisory board.

Along with CEO Martin Füllenbach, and CFO Frank Gumbinger, Fermerey completes the Semperit management board.

Fermery studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Karlsruhe and holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Stuttgart.

He has previously been CTO of the mechanical and plant engineering group GEA, and a director at medical and hygiene products company Paul Hartmann.
