Enviro says rCB can cut emissions by over 80%

Stockholm – Scandinavian Enviro Systems (Enviro) has issued study findings showing that major reductions in CO2 emissions can be achieved by using recovered carbon black (rCB) instead of virgin carbon black.

The life-cycle analysis by the IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute, using Enviro’s rCB, found that the material – produced from scrap tires – can cut carbon emissions by 79-84%.
