Parker Hannifin to close Ohio factory

Cleveland, Ohio – Parker Hannifin Corp. plans to close a 28,000-sq.-ft. plant in Kent, Ohio, that is part of its Fluid System Connectors Division, a move that will impact 52 workers.

The factory makes polymer products for the firm’s water and life sciences markets as well as some components for the transportation sector, according to a company spokesman. The operations at the Kent facility, he said, will be transferred to a plant in Lakeview, Michigan, by the end of the year.
