MESNAC Americas boss Jones retires
Jones has spent over 50 years in the tire industry in a variety of leadership positions in several countries including Europe, Central America, the Far East and North America.
He joined MESNAC in 2011 following its acquisition of Wyko Tire Technology, which at that time was jointly owned by Jones and his business partner, industry veteran, Ian Smith.
After the Wyko integration, David was appointed to the MESNAC Americas Regional position and provided leadership for MESNAC’s expansion into North and Latin America.
He achieved manufacturing equipment supply approval to a number of global tire customers and the establishment of MESNAC Brazil, the MESNAC Research and Technical Center in Akron Ohio and the acquisition of the Akron based specialty tire testing company TMSI.
Jones’ “experience and leadership qualities have been invaluable in the expansion of our business and the establishment of the MESNAC brand,” said Jerry Gu, MESNAC Americas CEO.
