New chairman takes charge at Nizhnekamsk
Kazan, Russia – Tatarstan-based petrochemicals company Nizhnekamskneftekhim has announced a change to its top management during an “unscheduled” board meeting on 29 Sept.
Company chairman Vladimir Busygin, said Nizhnekamsk, is taking a “well-deserved rest” and has asked to be relieved of his powers as chairman of the board of directors.
Ruslan Shigabutdinov, deputy general director at parent company TAIF has been elected as the new chairman.
Shigabutdinov has worked in Russian chemicals industry since 1974 and joined TAIF in 1999. Since July 2013 he has held the role of deputy general director of PSC "TAIF" for management and strategic development of the group "Nizhnekamskneftekhim".
