Malmo, Sweden – A Swedish court of appeal has overruled a decision by the Stockholm District Court to declare Hexpol AB’s board member Alf Göransson as bankrupt.
The decision followed a ruling by the Stockholm District Court to declare Göransson bankrupt on 10 July, 'without making any prior contact before the decision', according to Hexpol.
On 10 July, the Swedish rubber engineering group said the court’s decision was “based on a falsified application, where Alf Göransson is requesting himself in bankruptcy.”
Following the decision, the Swedish companies’ registration office restored the registration of Göransson as board member in Hexpol AB, which had been cancelled due to the primary ruling.
