UK’s Rapra organisation finds a new parent group

Telford, UK – Membership organisation Rapra has been taken over by Made in the Midlands, an organisation launched in 2009 which now has more than 340 members from the manufacturing sector in the Midlands and Yorkshire regions. Terms of the deal have not been announced.

Telford-based Rapra traces its origins back to 1919 but became the Rubber And Plastics Research Association in 1954. Its history as a leading R&D partner to the UK plastics and rubber industries included a restructuring in 2002….
