Mesnac opens new facility in Slovakia
Trencianska Tepla, Slovakia – Chinese tire & rubber machinery maker Mesnac has opened a new development and production facility in the Trencianska Tepla region of Slovakia, the company announced 14 Oct.
The new facility, which opened 1 Oct, will serve as the Mesnac European Research and Technical Center (MERTC).
Mesnac expects the new facility to strengthen its activities in Europe, by improving the process of developing and testing new machines and providing warranty and post-warranty services and spare-parts supply.
“The location and capability of this new facility will allow Mesnac to provide a very competitive commercial and service package to its European customers,” claimed Karol Vanko, Mesnac vice president at the opening ceremony.
According to Vanko, the new site will provide a “fully equipped production facility” supplying machinery that meets European standards.
In the plant, MERTC will produce its latest passenger tire building machines as well as machinery for truck tires and hydraulic curing presses.
The factory will also provide a base for Mesnac’s advances in RFID technology for tire manufacturers, as well as smart manufacturing, logistics and robotic technology.
