Cooper Standard reports strong second quarter

Novi, Michigan = Cooper Standard Holdings Inc. reported a 2.1-percent rise in second quarter sales to a “record” $879.3 million (€787.4 million) and net income increased to $52.9 million, up by nearly $12 million from the previous year.

The company linked the increase to favourable volume and mix, which was offset by currency exchange rates, price adjustments and the divestiture of its hard coat plastic exterior trim business in December 2015.
