Dordrecht, The Netherlands – Trelleborg Industrial Solutions has signed an agreement and finalised the acquisition of Loggers Rubbertechniek BV, a Dutch engineering company that provides engineered anti-vibration systems, principally within marine applications.
The Dordrecht-based privately-owned company designs and develops systems that minimise noise and dampen vibrations and shocks, mainly for on-board ship systems, said a 1 March Trelleborg statement.
The move in intended to strengthen Trelleborg’s anti-vibration operation within marine applications in Europe. The acquired operation’s sales were around SEK110 million (€12 million) in 2015.
Loggers Rubbertechniek “has advanced digital service tools which make it easy for customers to do business with them,” said Mikael Fryklund, business area president for Trelleborg Industrial Solutions.
Trelleborg plans for the new acquisition to serve as a marine anti-vibration solutions centre within the company’s global industrial anti-vibration operations.
