Taipei, Taiwan - Federal Tyres’ Formoza AZ01 and Formoza AZ01 FRF tires have been recognised in the Good Design Awards 2014 – an international design award run by the Chicago Atheneum: Museum of the Architecture and Design in collaboration with the European Centre of Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.
Launched back in 1950, the annual Good Design event recognises achievements in industrial design, attracting major companies from different industries such as Apple, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi to compete.
Formoza AZ01, said Federal is a high performance (HP) tire, providing a quiet, comfortable ride with superior handling and control, combined with low noise and good level of wet grip, while the AZ01 FRF employs run-flat technologies.
The Formoza tire are claimed to offer “the best combination of performance, comfort, security and efficiency, available in a comprehensive range of 15” through 18”.” OE sizes are also launched for BMW 3 series, BMW 5 series, Mini Cooper, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo among others.
