Metflex makes European allies

Blackburn, UK – Precision rubber moulding specialist Metflex has been invited to join a number of prominent European alliances.
The aim is to promote growing product and material lines and become involved in knowledge transfer and working groups.
The alliances include four organisations.
The European Control Manufacturers Association (AFECOR), the international association representing the leading European manufacturers of controls for the gas and oil industries.
The German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW), the mission of whom is to advance the gas and water industry in both technical and technical-scientific context.
The Association of Companies in the Gas and Water Industry (FIGAWA) who’s aim it is to promote technology and science in the Gas industry.
The German Controls Manufacturers Association (VHB) who coordinate actions towards authorities and standard organisations, monitor market development, joint R&D projects, mutual expert forums and carry out technical lobbying.
In recent months Metflex also announced their own bespoke reinforced rubber compounds for the industry, Dispersed Fibre Technology (DFT) that offer one-shot mouldings with three dimensional flex capabilities and 20 year flex life.
