Hertford, UK – Independent contract research organisation Rubber Consultants is celebrating 30 years in the industry this year.
Rubber Consultants was set up as part of the rubber research and development laboratory, the Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre (TARRC), the UK-based facility of the Malaysian Rubber Board.
Over the years its client base has grown to include polymer suppliers, suppliers of processing chemicals and fillers, producers of all types of elastomeric products, and the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
As well as its tire testing facilities, Rubber Consultants set up its biotechnology unit in 2009, focusing on plant molecular biology, plant genomics, plant proteomics and bioinformatics.
It also offers a testing service for the quantification of aqueous extractable protein from natural rubber and its products.
