Shawbury, UK – Issues related to sealing of plant and equipment in the oil and gas industry will be the focus of a DuPont Performance Polymers webinar being hosted by Smithers Rapra on 6 May.
The two-hour session will cover the challenges posed by increasing oil extraction pressures and temperatures, aggressive chemicals and rapid gas decompression at drilling sites.
The webinar will be led by Jean-Luc Matoux, application engineering specialist, at DuPont who will highlight the consequences of improper seal selection and the importance of monitoring sealing performance.
