    ERJ staff report (TP)

Stockholm, Sweden − Gert Wendroth has been appointed the new President of Nynas AB as of 1 March. He will replace Staffan Lennström who retires.

Gert Wendroth has a “thorough” background in the oil industry. His latest position was as CEO of H&R AG, a German listed company operating two base oil refineries in Germany and a number of blending and filling plants for specialty products around the world. Before that he has held various management positions in the Royal Dutch / Shell Group with a strong focus on B2B sales and marketing.

Gert Wendroth is from Hamburg, Germany and was born in 1958. He has a Master Degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg and an MBA from the University of Bradford, UK.

Staffan Lennström, who retires as President of Nynas AB, joined the company in 2005. During his time at Nynas he has led the company through a change in strategy, preparing Nynas for growth on the global specialty oils market.

Nynas AB was founded in 1928 and produces a variety of products – including oils for rubber applications and tires.
