London − European Rubber Journal wishes all our readers, advertisers and sponsors a happy, successful and prosperous 2021, and looks forward to reporting on what we hope will be a dynamic, exciting and (eventually) more normal year for the rubber industry

    > The up-coming ERJ January/February issue will focus on sustainability issues, including the technologies contributing most to enhancing the environmental profile of tires and technical rubber products.

Other feature topics include advances in silicone rubber technology and market trends and technology developments in the fields of medical and protective products. Watch out also for a special interview with Neeraj Kanwar, managing director and vice chairman of Apollo Tyres.

    > ERJ March/April issue will feature our annual Global Machinery Survey report with analysis of the tire & rubber machinery sector, including Top 50 ranking by sales, of the leading players.

The issue will also see the first in a series of ERJ regional reports for the rubber/ elastomer sector as well as a look at the developments being showcased at the Tire Cologne 2021 (18-21 May Cologne, Germany) – with a particular focus on sustainability and connected mobility

    > In ERJ May/June issue, our annual Compounding Survey will cover the world’s leading rubber compounders, including a ranking by sales of the top players in the international market.

Other important feature topics include rubber additives and, of course, our previews of two major events:  Tire Tech Expo (8-10 June, Hanover, Germany) and DKT2021 for the international rubber processing industry (28 June – 1 July, Nürnberg. Germany.

    > ERJ July/August issue will include our annual China Tire Report, with unique and authoritative analysis of developments in China plus interviews and commentary from the country’s leading tire makers and suppliers of materials and equipment to the sector.

Also in the line-up is the annual Global Top 50 Non-Tire Rubber Producers, our annual ranking of the world’s leading rubber product manufacturing companies and Future Tire Report with expert views on the technology trends and market developments that are reshaping the tire industry

    > In ERJ September/October issue, our European Tire Report: Annual will provide in-depth analysis of the European tire manufacturing industry: charting both the business performance and manufacturing activities of all major players in the region.

The editorial coverage will also encompass features on the latest developments in the field of automated manufacture and advances in sealing-product technology for challenging industrial and consumer product applications

    > ERJ November/December issue will include the Global Tire Report, the most authoritative industry guide to the worldwide tire industry, including Top 75 ranking of the world’s top manufacturers, detailed worldwide listing of every tire plant and in-depth reports and interviews with leading players throughout the supply chain

New developments in the field of rubber manufacturing will also be a strong feature of this issue, with features on the latest advances in equipment and product technologies as well as on innovative rubber/elastomer products, materials and systems for the automotive industry.

And finally, not to forget our ever-popular printed poster-size Tire Maps showing location of tire plants in key region, which will be included as free inserts in the final two ERJ issues of another busy year.
