Skinny cyclists: here's a spare tire for your waist
ERJ staff report (TP)
Madone, Italy − Artists, such as Jake Wilson Craw, take old tires and make belts out of them. Vittoria of Italy has cottoned on to the trend and is making a belt featuring the pattern of its Corsa CX tire, reported Carlton Reid from BikeBiz.
"Corsa CX is one of Vittoria’s most famous cotton tires worldwide. Its unmistakeable red stripe pattern can be easily recognized on the best pro riders’ bikes, including on the winner’s bike at the very recent World Champs in Florence 2013," said a statement from Vittoria.
The belt comes in a zip case which doubles as a tool stuff bag. The tire belt costs €30.
