Now, silicone rubber lips to ward off wrinkles
ERJ staff report (BC)
New York – Silicone rubber lips claimed to prevent wrinkles by exercising facial muscles have been developed in Japan, reports the New York Daily News.
Wearing the lips-shaped mouthpiece helps to exercise 12 facial expression muscles and turn back the clock, its makers say.
The user is required to wear the “Face Slimmer” on their mouth, and spend three minutes each day repeating vowel sounds. This would "give sagging facial skin and muscles that much-needed daily lift," according to the manufacturer.
"The movements are given extra load by the mould, forcing everything to work a bit harder and resulting in more youthful, vibrant faces," they added.
Also, repeating the vowel sounds will help maintain "the perfect visage".
