New EPDM rubbers from ExxonMobil
ERJ staff report (BC)
Houston, Texas - ExxonMobil Chemical (EMC), which claims leadership in both metallocene- and Ziegler-Natta-based EPDM technology, will introduce three new Vistalon EPDM rubber grades on the stand (A1) of its distributor, BP Chemicals, at the 7th India Rubber Expo & Tyre Show, Mumbai, 22-24 January.
Vistalon 2502, 6602 and 7602 are low in crystallinity, says EMC, delivering improved compression set at all temperatures for both moulded applications such as seals and extruded applications such as profiles and hoses.
EMC cites efficient ENB incorporation for “excellent†cure rates without scorch problems, fast mixing cycles, and the capability to meet “challenging†compression set specifications.
