Tire bursts in Airbus emergency landing at Phuket

Phuket - A passenger said that a tire burst when an Air Berlin Airbus A332 emergency landed at Phuket on 20 December, report Alan Morison and Sophie Brown of Phuketwan Tourism News.
Flight AB 7425 bound for Abu Dhabi turned back to Phuket after the pilot reported that the port engine had failed.
Passenger Iris Andre Unger, from Berlin, said the pilot had done a great job in dealing with the engine failure and tire burst.
An Air Berlin statement said ''All 249 passengers are safe and were able to disembark normally via the steps.''
