London - Rubber prices barely moved ove the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract rose by nearly a yen to trade at just above yen 246 ($3.09) on Monday 12 November. Shorter-dated prices also rose to trade around yen 235 (from 234).
In Singapore, the April 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading unchanged at $2.81 a few minutes before the close on Monday evening; December 2012 prices were also trading level at around at $2.76 (from $2.76).
In India, NMCE said November prices closed down 1 at just below Rs 173 ($3.15). December prices also eased by 1 to close at Rs 174.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for November closed unchanged at just below Yuan 23.4 ($3.75) per kilo on Monday. Prices for January 2013 fell by a fraction of a yuan to close at yuan 24.2 (from 24.3).
