London - Rubber prices around the world were mixed overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract was trading down by 3 yen at yen 227 ($2.90) on Friday 03 August. Shorter-dated prices were marginally lower at just above yen 213 on Friday afternoon.
In Singapore, the February TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 2 at $2.80; September prices eased by 5, trading around $2.76 in evening trading on Friday.
In India, NMCE said August prices closed unchanged at Rs 178 ($3.18). September prices also closed level at just over Rs 176.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for August closed up a fraction at Yuan 22.6 ($3.54) per kilo on Friday. September prices were slightly down at yuan 22.7..
