London - Rubber prices around the world were mixed overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract was trading up by a yen at yen 230 ($2.93) on Thursday 02 August. Shorter-dated prices closed marginally lower at yen 214 on Thursday afternoon.
In Singapore, the February TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 2 at $2.82; September prices were unchanged, trading around $2.81 in evening trading on Thursday.
In India, NMCE said August prices closed unchanged at Rs 178 ($3.19). September prices also closed level at just over Rs 176.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for August closed down a fraction at Yuan 22.5 ($3.53) per kilo on Thursday. September prices were slightly up at yuan 22.8.
