Yanshan improves BR, butyl rubber quality

Yanshan, China - Yanshan Petrochemical said it has improved the quality of its butyl rubber and butadiene rubber production in the first six months of 2012.
The company said production of the top grade of butyl increased to 92.8 percent of total production, from 81.2 percent at the start of the year. In butadiene rubber the fraction of the top grade improved to 91.2 percent from 88.1 percent. The company said better control of temperature and other process conditions had contributed to the improvement.
