Yokohama factories win Japanese standards approvals

Tokyo - The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd.,said three of its plants in Japan and China obtained Japan Industrial Safety and Health Association (JISHA) Standards Certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OSHMS) in January 2012.
They are the Onomichi Plant (manufacturing tyres for construction and industrial vehicles) in Japan, Hangzhou Yokohama Tire Co., Ltd. (manufacturing tyres for passenger cars), and Suzhou Yokohama Tire Co., Ltd. (manufacturing tyres for trucks and buses), both in China.
